What is a Lucky Cat?
Lucky Cats, also known as Maneki-neko in Japanese culture, are small figurines with an upright paw that seems to wave, inviting good fortune, prosperity, and positive energy into your life. These delightful cats often come in various colors, each carrying their own symbolic meaning. The white cat represents happiness, black wards off evil spirits, gold signifies wealth, and red protects against illness.
The History and Significance of Lucky Cats
Originating from 19th-century Japan, Lucky Cats draw inspiration from folklore and mythology. It is believed that these figurines can bring good luck and safeguard homes from negative energies. Over time, they have become beloved symbols, not only in Asian cultures but across the globe.
