What is a Lucky Cat?

Lucky Cats, also known as Maneki-neko in Japanese culture, are small cat figurines. The iconic statues sit upright and their paw waves. They invite good fortune, prosperity, and positive energy into your life.

The History and Significance of Lucky Cats

Originating from 19th-century Japan, Lucky Cats draw inspiration from folklore and mythology. It is believed that these lucky cat statues figurines can bring good luck and safeguard homes from negative energies.

Over time, these ceramic cat statues have become beloved symbols of Japanese pop culture, not only in Asian cultures but across the globe. You can often find the cute cat statues at the entrance of restaurants.
